Sale agreed to buy before Covid-19?

Did you go sale agreed to purchase a property before Covid-19 happened?

This week I'm going to share some of the conversations I've been having with clients.

Today I'm talking about the "What shall we do now" conversation that I'm having both with clients for whom I've acted as a buyer's agent and also with once off clients who have booked a coaching call with me to talk through this situation.

In order to help clarify my clients' thinking I usually start by looking at the options. We've identified these as follows:

1. Pull out of the purchase, request a refund of your booking deposit and walk away.

2. Go ahead with the purchase, as agreed. There are enough electronic services such as Offr.com, Docusign etc to allow purchasers complete the purchase despite being unable to physically move from home.

3. Renegotiate. By and large this approach is the one that my clients are inclined towards. It's not a black and white option ( as are Options 1 and 2) but it seems to fit the uncertain times.

In my next video, I'll go through a few different scenarios of how my clients are approaching this.

If you'd like to book an hour coaching session with me via Zoom to think through your own position, please book yourself in via my Services page.
